Short interview with our colleague Dominika.

Our colleague Dominika told us what she likes about her job, what is her dream travel destination and much more. 

How did your "journey" start in the next exporter? 

I joined the nextporter as a purchasing trainee for a few hours during the week while I was still studying at university. Eventually, I liked this job so much that I decided to stay.

What does your day in the next importer look like?

 I start the day with coffee or green tea with my colleagues. Then I will prepare a plan for the day and get to work. I communicate with Slovak as well as foreign suppliers, buy goods for our customers and contact new potential suppliers.

What do you like best about your job? 

I like the dynamics of this work with which it is connected on a daily basis. My work brings me new experiences, opportunities and different people from all over the world every day.

What are you doing in your free time?

I really like to spend my free time hiking in the Slovak mountains or exploring new cities and countries.

What is your dream destination? 

The universe. But as long as I have the opportunity, I plan a road trip to Asia, North America and Australia.

What is your biggest goal in life? 

My biggest goal is to devote in life to what will fully fulfill me for years and pay my bills at the same time. 

What is your biggest success in life so far? 

I consider my greatest success so far that I have spend few months in Scotland and survived the Scottish weather.

Tell us something about yourself that your colleagues don't know about you.

 I have an artistic soul. I have my paintings displayed all over the apartment.
